A group of mothers in Dell Rapids are designing a garden in the Dell Rapids cemetery in memory of the children they have lost.
Within the garden we are going to build a labyrinth to use for meditation and prayer. It will be open to all people as a place of peace and healing.
The cemetery board has granted us an area 35'x35' for our garden. We have applied for a community fund grant to get us started on construction. We expect to break ground on the garden in June, and will keep you posted on its progress.
We will be making available engraved memorial pavers for $50 each to anyone that would like to dedicate a stone in the garden. Email jeannieammon@hotmail.com for more information on how to donate a paver.
